When There's Nothing Else To Burn, You Have To Set Yourself On Fire.

I came home to techno music blaring from my house. Dad always puts on the radio before everyone leaves to work, so outsiders will think people are home, and won't try and break in and steal shit. But the reality is, it tricks no one. It's basically showing a sign on our front gate, saying 'ROB ME. NO ONE IS HOME', because it's so obvious that the Price Family would never be pumping techno music at any time of the day. Ridiculous. (Yes, and I probably shouldn't have blogged this information. Bet you in the next couple days, my house is going to be broken into).

My work is awesome. I don't know if it's because I've just started, and everything is usually good when it's new and exciting, but I'm lovinggg this job. There's a lot of things to remember, but the hours pass fairly quickly, I get to listen to CBD (this band reminds me of my entire childhood) & Jamiroquai all day, and there are regular customers that always come in every morning. It's like living in Stars Hollow. They're the most interesting characters.

Tomorrow X-Men Origins: Wolverine comes out Australia-wide, and MY GOD, I'm so frickin' excited to see it! I'll bust out my new Wolverine shirt I found in this men's shop, but that I had to have and maybe even style my hair so it's sticks out to the side like James Howlett/Logan/the coolest Marvel character ever. I'm even going to grow sideburns.

Level Ten

My wisdom teeth are KILLING me. I can't even chew on the right-hand side of my mouth, so I look like a retard tilting my face to the left whenever I take a bite of something.

Ugh, I feel sick. It is never a good idea to eat fish curry after you've been throwing up the night before. It will just make you feel ill again. A meatball sub from Subway, on the other hand, is always a good choice. And it will taste even better the day after a big night. Trust me.

Shout out to Steven, who is 18 today. It was indeed his party that I got quite sick at.  Started off the night with a b-zillion shots of this 'Cowboy' mix, and then proceeded to drink these new flavoured cruisers which taste exactly like FAIRY FLOSS! I'm not even kidding. They're pretty anddd yum. And the vanilla-flavoured cigars made everything go down quite nicely. I think I may have also had some rum throughout the night, but the details of everything that happened are hazy.

I was on about a Level One of drunkness, and then had another couple of shots, and then 20 minutes after... BAM! It turned into a Level Four, then quickly jumped to a Level Six. I was on the chair in the family room, bin supplied by Lilly with her quick intiative, hair pulled back by Chen, and I think a lot of other people surrounding to watch the excitement of me throwing up the entire content of my stomach. Ew. (Obviously at Level Ten)

Felt a lot better after that, and with some cold party pies, I was back down to a Level Four. At 12ish, everyone else headed up town which sucked, because that meant I had to go home. Had an awesome 12hour sleep though. Ended up getting up at 12:30pm. What up?

I Want That Trophy, So Dance Good.

Last night was fairly adventurous. It was Asher's last night in town before leaving back to Adelaide, so we planned to have a big night. Started off at Kelsey's house around 7pm, drinking disgusting-tasting champagne, and the couple cruisers we had left from the weekend before, munging out on metballs, bread and these awesome biscuits that I now. want. more. of., come to think of it.

We then caught a 'maxi-pad' to Annie's. There was this movie-themed party in the back area. Some chick was dressed as Mia Wallace from Pulp Fiction, which was awesome, and another girl was dressed up as Mary from There's Something About Mary, with that fringe bit of her hair styled vertically. Then there was some bad costume choices, especially when some guy dressed up as Roger Rabbit. He just looked freaky. That was quite unfortunate for him.

When 11:30pm came, all the crew left to town, and I stayed at Annie's for a bit longer with a couple other mates (freezing my ass off, because Kelsey stole my jacket!) before we decided to leave and go to this random party. It wasn't particularly my crowd. I'm pretty sure a few of the boys were kids that were a couple grades below me who have turned into massive potheads, who listen to either bad heavy metal, or house music that all sounds the same. 'That's not music, that's noise' - as Roy Price would say. There was also this bi-curious chick who starting hitting on me. SCORE!

Around 1:30am, me and one of my best mates decided to leave back to his and crash for the night, so we stole a frozen chicken yiros and a burrito for the short walk back. Woke up around 6 this morning, and couldn't get back to sleep, and I have another big night awaiting me, beginning 9pm tonight. WOO.

LEGENDARY quotes of the night:

Bagels & Cream Cheese

Friday morning/arvo, and I just woke up. I'm kind of glad I haven't been working this past week. It allows me to sleep in until 12:30, which is something I haven't done in AGESSSS. But I definitely need to be earning money soon. I'm down to like 40 bucks to last me until my next pay, and I doubt it'll last me until Monday even. I'm still yet to buy more of an 18th present and drinks for their party tomorrow. Blahhh. Lame. (I'm sure to scab/steal some more)

BIG NEWS: MY BIRTHDAY IS IN ONE MONTH, EXACTLY!

18 and hopefully I'll be much more mature, wiser, making mature and wise decisions, and not taking any crap from douche-bags around the world.

It's bagels & cream cheese all around these days.

This is dinner last night, and also a replica of this afternoon's brunch. Hm yum.

Everything seems lame these days, leaving me with this constant empty feeling all the time. Unfulfilled. And I don't really know why. People say gap year is the most awesomest year ever, but they must have been high 24/7, or I'm just not doing it right (Second option more likely), because I'm not enjoying it at all. At least last year (as gay as Grade 12 was), there were always different assignments to do, but this year, I'm doing the same thing all the time. Every week day I'll be working, and on the weekends, I'll be getting midly tipsy (because I never get drunk anymore). Stupid routines & sober unfun.

Anyhow, some music to ease the pain:

  • Low vs Diamond - Heart Attack
  • Ida Maria - Oh My God
  • Taking Back Sunday - Sleep
  • Kisschasy - Darkside (Acoustic)
  • The Filthy Youth - Come Flash All Your Ladies

Over and out.
